Fall Theatre Classes

REGISTRATION FOR 2024 FALL CLASSES WILL BE POSTED LATE-JULY 2024.

10-week classes begin mid-September, 2024, and end mid-November, 2024. All classes are once a week on the specified day, for 10 weeks.

FALL CLASSES

IMAGINATION & PLAY

K4-K5

$105, 45 minutes

Our classes for rising K4-K5 explore creative play, music and art, while learning acting and storytelling techniques. Classes at this age are intended to help ignite the imagination and encourage group play. There will not be a play or performance in classes for this age range.

K4-K5 students must be fully potty-trained and able to use the bathroom by themselves. SYT staff may not change diapers nor enter the bathroom with a child.

ACTOR-IN-TRAINING
1st-2nd grade

$150, 75 minutes
 

Our classes for the energetic 1st-2nd grader continue to develop teamwork, self-expression, and imagination, while introducing acting techniques and stage movement skills through a specific fun setting. Classes at this age range are intended to introduce young children to the concepts of theatre and encourage group play. There will not be a play or performance in classes for this age range.

TECHNIQUE CLASSES
3rd-6th
grade

$150, 75 minutes

Our technique classes for rising 3rd-6th graders introduce theatre techniques for those who are curious about the world of theatre. Classes will have a showcase at the end of the semester of skills learned during class, but students will not be performing a full production.

TEEN STUDIOS
7th-12th grade

75 minute classes: $150

90-minute classes: $175

Our middle school studios for 7th-12th graders teach both introductory and advanced theatre techniques, and provide an in-depth look at the theatrical production process. Classes will have a showcase at the end of the semester of skills learned during class, but students will not be performing a full production.

 

TEEN ADVANCED STUDIOS
10th-12th grade

$200, 120 minutes
 

Our advanced teen studios for 10th-12th graders provide advanced theatre techniques and training for young actors interested in pursuing a professional theatre career. Classes will have a showcase at the end of the semester of skills learned during class, but students will not be performing a full production.
