At The Spartanburg Youth Theatre, you’ll find:

Whether you are an aspiring performer or designer or just want to build confidence and make new friends, the Spartanburg Youth Theatre is the place to be! Camps are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Please remember to register early, as many of our camps fill up quickly.


- Tuition may be paid in full at the time of registration or you may pay half the cost at the time of registration and the remainder no less than 7 days prior to the first day of camp.


- Scholarships for all 2019 summer camps have already been awarded. Check back in early August for a fall classes scholarship application.

- Register before 5pm on May 13, 2019 and receive $20 off the cost of each camp ($10 off for Imagination & Play K4-K5 camps). When registering online, the price listed includes the $20 discount.


- If you cancel no later than 7 days before the first day of your camp, tuition less a $30 Camp Cancellation Fee will be refunded. If you cancel less than 7 days before the first day of your camp, only a refund or credit of 50% of the tuition cost will be issued.

- Once camps have started, no refunds will be given.

Summer camps begin the week of June 3, and continue all summer through the week of July 29.


Rising K4-K5
Monday to Friday | 9am-11am

Tuition $90

Our one-week camps for rising K4-K5 explore creative play, music and art, while learning acting and storytelling techniques. Each week culminates in a sharing of activities and stories for family and friends.

Howdy partner! Join Woody, Buzz Light-year, Jessie, and all of your favorite Toy Story friends as you explore Andy’s room while he’s away!




Rising 3rd-6th
Monday to Friday | 9am-1pm or 9am-5pm
5 minimum | 12-16 maximum
Tuition $150 to $220

Our one-week camps for rising 3rd-6th graders introduce theatre techniques for those who are curious, and provide intermediate-level performance camps for those who are ready for the next step of the theatre process. Each camp ends with a final performance for family and friends.

Musical Theatre: Disney’s Aladdin *AFTERNOON SESSION*
July 29-August 2

Genie has granted your wish! Set in the style of a musical revue, students will learn introductory singing and dancing techniques through songs and choreography from the hit Disney film and Broadway show Aladdin.


Rising 7th-12th grade

Monday to Friday | 9am-1pm or 9am-5pm
5 minimum | 10-24 maximum

Our one-week camps for rising 7th-12th graders provide advanced theatre techniques, as well as performance bootcamps and technical theatre camps where the cast will put together a production, with set and costumes, in one-week! Camps will end with a performance for family and friends.

Laugh Out Loud
July 29-August 2

Camp enrollment: 5 minimum | 14 maximum
It will be difficult not to LOL in this fun and fast paced camp! This camp will introduce you to the basics of improvisation and give you fun tips and techniques to keep the laughs coming.
