Live Theatre in the

Heart of Downtown

Every Spartanburg Youth Theatre production comes to life on the stage of Chapman in downtown Spartanburg.

This 500-seat proscenium theatre welcomes audiences into an intimate, horseshoe-shaped auditorium where every seat offers a connection to the performance. With its elegant limestone façade and thoughtfully designed acoustics, the theatre provides the perfect backdrop for our young performers to shine.

Large auditorium filled with children and some adults seated in curved rows of chairs, some wearing yellow shirts, others in various casual clothing, with a blue wall and windows at the back.

As home to Spartanburg Little Theatre and numerous local arts partners, this beloved venue has become the cultural heartbeat of our community, hosting everything from youth productions to professional performances.

When you attend a show here, you’re not just watching theatre—you’re becoming part of Spartanburg’s vibrant arts tradition.
