The Spartanburg Youth Theatre uses 7th-12th graders to crew all of our productions. No previous experience is required to crew!
Crew positions include props, running fly rails, sound, microphones, lights, and spot lights.

THE LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE
Crew Application Deadline: Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 12pm
Applicants will be notified if they have been selected to crew by Mon, Jan 20, 2025.
CREW MEMBERS MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR THE FOLLOWING DATES:
Crew Parent Meeting: Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 5:30-6:30pm
If you are unable to attend the meeting, you and a parent must schedule a time to meet with SYT staff directly.
Crew View: Thursday, February 6, 2025 from 5:30-7:30pm
Crew member should do their best to attend this rehearsal to watch the show; there will only be 1 crew view for this production, so if they cannot attend this crew view, they won't get to watch the show before crewing. It wouldn't disqualify someone from crewing though.
Crew Training: Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 10am-12pm
It is very important that all crew members are able to attend this training. Makeup dates for training are very difficult to schedule and will be avoided at all costs.
