From page to stage to classroom, acclaimed children’s books come to life with SYT's STORYBOOK LIVE!
Literature and theatre join forces in Spartanburg Youth Theatre's latest virtual series designed to support your classroom's curriculum needs.
A theatrical accompaniment, performed by Spartanburg Youth Theatre (SYT) actors will captivate virtual audiences as an engaging narrator reads the book aloud. Additionally, educators will receive an enrichment guide with activities linked to SC content standards.
STORYBOOK LIVE! is offered FREE OF CHARGE to all Spartanburg, Union & Cherokee county schools through generous sponsorships from local businesses who support the arts!

STORYBOOK LIVE! is offered FREE OF CHARGE to all Spartanburg, Union & Cherokee county schools through the generous sponsorship from local businesses who support the arts!
Teachers will receive an educational enrichment guide that corresponds to the storybook and is linked to SC education standards.
Each storybook video is between 10-15 minutes.
IS THE STORYBOOK ACTUALLY LIVE?
We are bringing your beloved storybooks to life, however these will not be live streamed. Storybook Live! performances will be recorded and sent to you. You will be able to use the storybooks during a time that is convenient for you.
WHEN DO I RECEIVE THE STORYBOOK?
Each storybook is being created and filmed this season (2020-2021). Listed next to each storybook above is the projected month we hope for the storybook to be ready and available. As they become available, you will be emailed the link to the storybooks and the enrichment guide.

Registration is now open! Fill out the form below and we will email you the storybooks you register for as they become available.
We prefer registration through the online form, but if you are having difficulty, you may call us at 864-583-4891. Office hours vary. Please allow us 24 hours to return your call.
